Common troubleshooting

Chrome must be running

Calendar Call Alert sets alarms inside Chrome. If Chrome is closed or the extension is disabled, no alert will fire.

Do Not Disturb and Focus modes

System-level Do Not Disturb or Focus modes on macOS, Windows, or ChromeOS can suppress Chrome notifications. Check your system notification settings if alerts aren't showing.

macOS notification action buttons

By default macOS hides notification action buttons (Join, Dismiss). Hover your cursor over the notification to reveal them, or check System Settings > Notifications > Google Chrome.
